long overdue update
Life has been busy, but ive made small head way on the h1r.
i didnt take pics of much lately but all the cables are built or reused originals, i fabricated a killswitch, sand blasted the pipes and repainted them with a satin black ceramic based paint. i also fabricated a stainless pipe holder for the two right hand pipes similar to the original one but big enough for my silencer which ive kept on the bike.
I have started on the tank.... found a big hole and a crack. so at this point ive repaired it with fiberglass and its currently leak free. i have ordere caswell fiberglass tank liner to coat the tank as added precaution. as a side not it looks like the tank was thin where it cracked, looks as tho it was manufactured like that...

H1R pipes
I've been away from this blog for far to long. I've done lots of small things on the H1R lately and it will be cosmetically finished within the next few months. Hopefully. Life gets busy but if you've been patiently waiting I'll post more soon. Here's the pipes freshly blasted. H1RA pipes but someone's brazed on silencers at some point. I like em. I'll keep them on there.

Mach Chicken kawasaki
had some spare clear left from the KV75 tank and decided to spray a much needed clear on the mach chickens bodywork.
Kawasaki H1R , finally painted something green!
Got around to a few more things, put relined shoes in the rear and finished building the rear brake cable, but still have to find a spring for it. finished the lockwires on all the brake parts as well. then i figured id get some color on it! so i scraped much paint from the seat cowl, a few layers but there was a spec a green under all the blue/red/silver/purple? my next step might be to tackle the tank and it has a few pinhole leaks in it, im not sure how to tackle that yet.

h1r
well its cleaned up from the vapor blasters which did an unbelievable job! Bottom end is complete but top end is for show as it needs pistons and a re-bore. My next step will be to blast the pipes and repaint them...

Cases.
Pressure washed the cases. They aren't as bad as I thought they would be but still oxidized and a bit crusty. They should et soda blasted or aqua or hot tanked, but I'm having a hard time finding someone to do it in town.
